Third Anniversary: Where does the time go?

Another anniversary has come and gone for Tim and I and I can barely tell you where the time has gone.

Yesterday was much like any other day in February which has been busy. Tim has been up to his neck in work and I have been running around doing errands, helping friends, volunteering and occasionally doing work.

Last night we put the laptops, iphones and other electronics aside and went out to dinner at Ford's Filling Station in Culver City. The food was yummy and the company as always lovely. Afterward, we stopped at Cafe Ugo because we had spied they had a gelato bar (my kind of bar) and each got a little gelato. It was a warm Los Angeles night and it was so nice to be together and just talk and laugh and forget about all the stuff that may or may not need to get done. A perfect way to celebrate 3 years of marriage.

Next, in our crazy lives is a long weekend to Sin City. Unlike our 1 year anniversary trip in which our flight to Las Vegas was a comedy of errors, we are taking all of Friday off and flying out in the morning to hopefully avoid last minute craziness and LA's Friday night traffic. We'll let you know.

For now we are so thankful for each other keeping the other sane in these hectic times.

Year Two | Month Eleven

Last month, we traveled to St. Louis to spend Christmas with Tim's family. It was a lot of fun, though cold. We ate our body weights in homemade chex mix and lounged by the fire. It was quite relaxing.

We had a low key New Year's Eve which is our preference. We don't like to be out on the roads with all the people deciding to try their hands at getting a DUI as their new year's resolution. So we had an early dinner at our favorite sushi restaurant,Sasabune. Then we headed home and watched The Hangover which we missed in theaters over the summer. It definitely wheted our appetite for a Las Vegas trip in the near future. Though hopefully not as crazy as the movie.

In the New Year, Tim and I have high hopes and aspirations. Only time will tell if they will come to fruition.
